Is there any reason to join a team as opposed to not joining in terms of how much 'work' my computer can do? That is, is it more efficient to work in a team rather than individually? Thanks! Linda |

Is there any reason to join a team as opposed to not joining in terms of how much 'work' my computer can do? That is, is it more efficient to work in a team rather than individually? The work you do on your computer is your work, it is not affected by the team. The team is a place to "belong" and add your points to the overall team score, which in turn puts that team in a certain ranking of BOINC cruncher teams from around the world. Some teams websites have a place to socialize as well. It really depends on what team you want to be part of and what they have to offer. |
