For those of you unfamiliar with me and the multi-fora phenomenon of the G-String, I come on the boards as a break from grim reality. Please feel welcome to discuss books, movies, tell awful jokes, flirt wildly or do whatever flips your switch. Terrible limericks are also acceptable.

Just to start things off:
There once was a project Rosetta
Old FAD teams came here to go getta.
I came with the gang
And watched the big bang
And started this thread to feel betta.

Yeah buddy! This is a nice change of pace. Thanks Ghost Plane for starting this most wonderful thread. So I have a ton of nasty jokes, limericks etc., can I really post them here or will I get busted?
If you cant say something nice, say something vague.

And if you can't think of something vague, then shut the hell up! =)

This feels more like home.

<check your spailin' of "feel". People are going to wonder about us Southerners.>

I understand that some changes to the message board are being tried, but I can't remember where I read it. We need more fora, a preview feature, and a gazillion smilies.

I'm only 300 miles NNE of you and we expect a wintry mix to start tomorrow afternoon. People in Florida can now enjoy their reasons for moving farther south. I had to heat my apartment in Key West with the oven one January morning in 1969. It must have gotten down to 60 F (16 C). :-)

Spelling now fixed. Thanks, hon.

Yes, I'm totally serious about bad jokes, bad limericks, etc. And I'm even known for explaining phoenetic puns to non native English speakers. So post away. And for flirting purposes, let me clarify that I'm 100% female!

So here's another, just to lower the tone further:

There once was a poster named Vester
Whose humor it rarely did fester
With Morphy he knew me
Their joking, it slew me
My teasing of them is a jester.

GP, I sure am glad you didn't use the word molester. That limerick needs a little more wine. :D

A request has been posted by Vester
To fashion a rhyme with 'molester'
By pouring more wine
And feeling just fine
She realized he wanted to test her. <wink>

Alright, no holds barred. Here is the nastiest limerick that I know.

There once was a lady named Dot
Who lived off of pig shit and snot
When she couldn't get these
She would eat the green cheese
That she scraped from the sides of her tw@t

Ok you asked for it so there it is. If this offends, I apologize. And on that note, buy a sense of humor while your out and about being offended.

Yay! A cannonball to the gutter! Just my kind of post.
<Does her victory dance>

Welcome, Fully. <smooch, kiss, smack, pet, stroke, etc>

Feel free to take a souvenir g string from the supply so thoughtfully provided. <grin>

And in honor of today's episode of the Rosetta Soap Opera...

There once was a Chicken named Fluffy
Whose teammates were feeling quite huffy.
They came to the String
And had 'em a fling
And now the posts don't seem so stuffy. <wink>

Get in here people before I rhyme again.

Dammit. Here I was thinking this was going to be a nice clean thread discussing violins. As I'm sure you are aware, every violin on planet earth has a G string, and J. S. Bach even went so far as to compose a tune called Air on the G string.

Of course, this might just be a hint that J.S.B. was a complete perv. .....

You all realize that I'm not cleaning up the coke that came shooting out of my nose as I've been reading this. Do you offer G strings for that pupose?

Kathryn, you can use 'em for whatever purpose you want. I certainly never speculate what the guys do with 'em, but we seem to run thru crates of the things. Feel free to select whatever style, material and color does it for you.

And on the topic of pervs and classical musicians, I read somewhere this week that scientists who obvious don't have enough to do ran tests on Beethoven's hair and part of his skull [I don't WANT to know why anyone had THAT hanging around] and determined he died of lead poisoning. There you go, dg, musical topics touched on just for you.

It's a fixture wherever I go. Had to have somewhere I could discuss books I was reading [trashy romance at the moment], flirt wildly w/o some mod telling me it was a family thread and to keep it clean, and cut loose with my semi-annual urge to create truly awful limericks. All I have to do is plug in the plasma screen TV, open a crate of g strings and roll in a few crates of brew and the guys show up like magic. <wink>
