Not downloading new work

Nothing since. A best I can tell the Rosetta servers are up and dishing out work, so I figure I must have something set up incorrectly (although I have been running SETI on the same BOINC installation for over a week). I found I once had to tell BOINC to connect even tho' it appeared connected. Once it tried to reconnect, it scheduled a download and has worked fine since. Your firewall must allow boincmgr.exe and boinc.exe. If you will open BOINC Manager, click on the Projects tab, click on the line for the Project, and click on the pushbutton Update, it should connect to the project. THis is BOINCs way of trying to honor your resource share (over the long term). It could also mean that Rosetta has built up a long term debt and cpu time is owed to other projects. Just "suspend" SETI for a couple of days until they get their issues worked out... Also, the "Cafe" is more a free-for-all place to chat and gossip than it is a help area. You'll get faster response to any problems over in Number Crunching. Normally. Although 5 min in cafe may be a new record.
