Hi :) My name is Corine, I've been an active member of seti@home since'99. I heard today of Rosetta project and switched directly. I'm a registered nurse and found it more realistic to help find cures instead of "chasing ET". I hope I am welcome to join the dutch mad cows (great name btw, hilarious!) I can contribuate to your teams with my credits. Greetings, Corine The things that one most wants to do are the things that are probably most worth doing. Winifred Holtby, |

Thnxs Legman, and thank you all for the free publicity haha. *Thank you so much for the warm welcome, I already joined your team directly as I surfed into the teams databank. I hope you dont mind a french CCU nurse living and working in NL participating. I felt it was more useful to join team efforts than ego tripping on my own. I hope to be of service. I crunched my first WU in 2 hours and 7 minutes. I'm hooked :) Keep crunching dutch power cows! Hello. I'm another new subscriber. I used to have SETI (and occasionally Rosetta, I think) on my other PC, but I never got round to putting it onto the new one earlier this year. And as a welcome gift, I suppose I've got to give you this link to an amusing sign. Well, amusing if you're British. http://media.mugss.org/photos/MUGSS_Holidays/Broads_2000/Pic0031.jpg |

Thought I was bilingual AND I lived in Norfolk, but I didn't get it either. Must've been one of those stories on the Beeb that we missed. <shrug> FADBeens |

Must've been one of those stories on the Beeb that we missed. <shrug> You need a slightly (?) twisted sense of humor to get it. Never mind anything other than the sign. Now, imagine it on one of the roads leading into Norwich. |

I just joined Rosetta, so I'm kinda new around here. Once I stomp on my team mate, Laughingboy, over at Seti, I plan to bring all of my hosts over here to Rosie's. In the mean time, my PowerMac will have to do. Treat me gently, I'm a virgin. |

Hmmm... How to explain Norwich. It's the largest town (in fact the only city) in what may be the most... rural county in England. |

Hmmm... How to explain Norwich. Altho' Suffolk would give 'em a run for their money if it weren't for the, erm, civilizing?? influence of the airbases. <smirk> THE high point of my visits to Norwich was my stint as prison observer making sure the tender Yank airmen didn't become some guy's, erm, love toy. <wink> FADBeens |
