I know it is a bit premature, but they may change over entirely at some point.

I think they will use both app, "classical" rosetta and new python app.
And i hope the will permit to choose in user's profile.

I would hope not.
I have no interest in having to use Virtual Box.

+1
I want to decide what to crunch

P.S. Have you try MS WSL? It's more difficult than Vbox, but the performances are better

Released version 0.18 on Ralph

And tonight the 0.19 and 0.20 version are on the server.
Seems they are working hard on Ralph and Rosetta on this app, but we don't know nothing about that

Got a handful of these tasks recently and promptly ran into my 35GB disk storage cap. Looks like the vdi gets copied into each slot as well as residing in the project folder causing disk usage to explode compared to being able to run 5-6 concurrent tasks without virtualbox.

Might be worthwhile to evaluate some of the options to share disks between VMs as mentioned on https://www.virtualbox.org/manual/ch05.html so that users can continue to run many parallel jobs without excessive disk usage.

Another option would be to pick a much smaller base image. Vagrant debian/centos base images are in the 1GB range IIRC.

I downloaded other 5 python wsus.
Some questions:
- is it possible to crunch more than 1 wu at once?
- will be possible to select this app in personal profile of the project?

I have several going at once on one PC.

Forever a wish here at Rosetta.

2 completed successfully here so far. Ralph had one exceed disk space.
Peak disk usage: 9,559.60 MB on good Rosetta task.

Apparently, when i got one and another one is in waiting the CPU crunches one of the pythons ones and nothing else. If i let the current python one running but cancel all the other python ones BOINC picks up other rosetta 4.20 WU's to crunch.

To me, this current state of affairs is inconvenient. My python WU is taking a lot of memory and disk space.

I would suggest posting about these issues in the Ralph forums.
These forums don't get much attention from the project, but since they are posting new applications to Ralph, there's a much greater chance of them seeing posts about Ralph issues with them over at Ralph than here at Rosetta.

Same here. I have a 12 cores AMD Ryzen and even if i stop all other wus, the system crunchs only 1 python.
