I've been running Rosetta@home on my Apple M1 Mini for a few days, but neither my computer nor any of my completed jobs have been recorded on my page at host_user.php or results.php?userid=2345119.
But my account page at ScienceUnited shows 134.74 CPU hours and 13 successfully completed jobs for Rosetta@home.

I suspect my results are being tallied to some other account at boinc.bakerlab.org. Can this be fixed?

As i understand it (which is probably wrong..), but No.

Because your computer isn't actually attached to Rosetta, it's attached to Science United (a type of account manager) which does work for projects it selects. So the work done goes to your Science United account.
You can continue with Science United, or detach from it, and attach to the projects you wish to do. Then any work done will go to your account with each project.
In each case the sum of all work done on all projects will go against your BOINC account.

Aha! This is very confusing ... having both the project website and Science United website.
I also took a look at the xml for account_boinc.bakerlab.org_rosetta.xml in BOINC Data, and it has a different user id.
My account in my Rosetta profile is 2345119
But the ID in the BOINC Data is 2041873
These accounts should be linked.

So to run a project independent of Science United, I would need to get the URL from the project's website and then use Tools->Add Project?

What's annoying is the the BOINC Projects tab has a Your Account button, which brings you to the project's webpage where you are asked to log in or create an account. Which is what I did, not knowing that the account I created has nothing to do with the project running on BOINC.

This needs to be explained better.

And there should be a way for me to combine my two accounts into one.

Also, it looks like the "real" account is an old one I was probably using 10 years ago before I disconnected myself from BOINC. So how can I reconnect to it? If I search for my name, I only find the current one, the one with no completed tasks, and no computer.

But i do know the user ID#. And trying to get to https://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta/results.php?userid=2041873 gets "Unable to access"

Ok. I've signed out of Science United and am signing up to projects manually thru the BOINC Tools->Add Project.
I've deleted any project accounts and creating new ones.
Turns out my accounts on some of these projects from 10 years ago still existed.
Best to start out fresh.

One account is your account with that project, the other account is a Science United account- Science United was doing the work for the projects, but you get the Credit on you BOINC account. You are attached to the science United account, not to the project, when you use Science United.

No need to get the URL, just selecting the Add Project, then selecting the project you want should do it.

That's the problem with using an account manager like Science United.
They are attached to the projects you do through them, not you.

What is Science United?
Science United (SU) is a new way for computer owners to participate in BOINC-based volunteer computing. SU doesn't replace the old way of doing things, where you people attach to specific projects; rather, it provides an alternative where you choose science areas, and SU picks the projects for you.

SU is designed for people who are not technical, who don't want to spend much time on BOINC (e.g., fiddling with settings or browsing project web sites), and who are motivated primarily by science goals.

The computing power of SU participants is divided among a set of vetted projects. Eventually, the choice of projects and the allocation policy will be made by an independent committee. For now, all science projects vetted by BOINC are included, with equal allocation shares.

Science areas, not projects
When you participate in SU, you sign up for science areas, not projects. You can choose the areas and sub-areas you want to support, and the ones you don't. Similarly for the location of the research.

SU is implemented as an "account manager", like BAM! and GridRepublic. When you attach a computer to SU, it tells your computer what projects to run, based on your preferences and other factors. These may change over time, even from day to day. You may end up running a project that didn't exist when you first signed up. You don't have to browse and evaluate projects; in effect, SU does that for you.

As it says there, using Science United you're doing science areas, not projects.
You should send them any suggested improvements.

AFAIK- it can't be done.
You used Science United to do work for the projects, so it's their account, not yours. So no way that work done for projects using them could be merged with work done when attached to a project using your BOINC account.
