I don't know if this is happening to everyone but I have a MASSIVE memory leak with rosetta right now. I suspended all Rosetta tasks to make sure it was the one doing it, and the memory leak stopped. I have to abort my crunching for rosetta at this time to keep this computer usable. I hope this can be resolved, as rosetta only uses at most 2GB of memory. not all 32 of my RAM. |

I forgot to add my specs if it makes any difference. |

DISREGARD THIS THREAD. IT WAS ANOTHER BIONIC NUMBER CRUNCHER. LHC@HOME. You can lock this thread or remove it. I will go to the repective BIONC fourm and post my findings there. |

I hope this can be resolved, as rosetta only uses at most 2GB of memory. not all 32 of my RAM.It depends on the Tasks being run. Some Tasks can use as much as 4GB of RAM (there once was a batch that sucked up 10GB+ per Task). Generally, if you allow 1.3GB of RAM per Task (CPU Core/thread being used) you won't run into insufficient memory issues. Lately most Tasks have been averaging around only 400-600MB with the odd one using 1.2GB. Grant Darwin NT |
