The current COVID19-related work units don't seem to create checkpoints. So, it's impossible to shutdown the computer or to switch to another OS without losing all the work done.
Since I can't run my PC or the same OS all the day long, I have to deny processing those units. So sorry.

You're running Lunix, and there is an issue with one of the Linux applications (i686-pc-linux-gnu). A configuration file can be used to block usage of this application until a fixed one is available.


Edit- here we go.

cc_config.xml
to be put in the BOINC directory (most likely /var/lib/boinc-client/cc_config.xml).

  <options>
    <no_alt_platform>1</no_alt_platform>
  </options>
</cc_config>

Exit and restart BOINC for it to take effect, or using the BOINC Manager; Options, Read config files.
