The current COVID19-related work units don't seem to create checkpoints. So, it's impossible to shutdown the computer or to switch to another OS without losing all the work done. Since I can't run my PC or the same OS all the day long, I have to deny processing those units. So sorry. |

The current COVID19-related work units don't seem to create checkpoints. So, it's impossible to shutdown the computer or to switch to another OS without losing all the work done. You're running Lunix, and there is an issue with one of the Linux applications (i686-pc-linux-gnu). A configuration file can be used to block usage of this application until a fixed one is available. Edit- here we go. cc_config.xml to be put in the BOINC directory (most likely /var/lib/boinc-client/cc_config.xml). <cc_config> <options> <no_alt_platform>1</no_alt_platform> </options> </cc_config>Exit and restart BOINC for it to take effect, or using the BOINC Manager; Options, Read config files.
