After restarting BOINC Mgr or after an update command, it says "Retrieving current status" and then "No work available to process".
I look at the Server Status pages and see lots of tasks. It was formerly processing lots'o'tasks, but this has been the status for over a day.

My two Linux PCs have been working 24/7 for a few weeks, and then yesterday afternoon or night I noticed that the machines were idle. When I checked on the machines, I noticed the the BOINC Manager had the following message: "No work available to process."
I'm not sure what is going on.

I even rebooted both machines, but the same BOINC Manager message appeared when they reconnected.

What is going on?

I'm having the exact same problem, it started yesterday. I posted a message as well. No one has chimed in yet.

I rather suspected the back-end work was the issue with not getting work units.

What I finally did was to go to my http://www.boincstats.com/bam/projects/ page (if you're using it) and assign Rosetta a 500 priority, while everything else has 50. So in the meantime, something else will run, and when Rosetta has WUs, it should pick those up preferentially.

Glad to have the status issue confirmed, however.

In my former experience with BOINC projects (Climateprediction.net. etc) the server status often showed WU's available, but they were not suitable for my systems.
However, this situation was explained in the server status advisory items.
My XPS is idle presently with WU's shown available, for exactly that reason.
