every task finished with client error on intelMac

My guess is that the WU's can't really work properly with the new intel dual core chips. Or that boinc doesn't work properly through rosetta, can be both. Last modified: 23 Dec 2006, 0:25:22 UTC I recently started BOINC running on my new Dual-Core Intel Mac. Most of my Rosetta tasks finished with Unrecoverable error for...(process got signal 4). I continue to run SETI and Einstein with no problems. I also had to chage the screensaver to not use BOINC since it would not wake up on numerous occasions. The only way out was to hold the power button in until it shut down. I will stop running Rosetta (i.e. wasting my CPU time) until a solution is available. ID: 33219 · Rating: 0 · rate: / Reply Quote
