Noticed some very low energy calculations earlier so I closed the graphics and let them continue then later checked in. Both later stopped when I later viewed graphics.
Here is a record of the transfers at the time of the problem.

Is this the same machine you use to crunch for MilkyWay with? If so it could just be that your gpu is busy crunching and viewing the graphics is causing a conflict. If you do a right click on the Boinc icon down in the tray and click on 'snooze gpu' then view the Rosetta graphics does it still crash? Give it about 10 seconds to stop the MW crunching before viewing the Rosie graphics though.

He has integrated graphic card or any other reason graphic card does not recognized at all.

I can not find any coprocessors.

So his/her machine working cpu only

Gary, I suspect this is a problem with the workunits and it is just coincidental that you happened to view the graphics shortly before this one failed. The stderr out for the WU in question can be found here:

T0462_boinc_nmr_max40_rerun_abrelax_cs_frags_nocst_tex_IGNORE_THE_REST_23857_1160_0

These lines are of particular interest:

Incorrect function. (0x1) - exit code 1 (0x1)

ERROR: ERROR: FragmentIO: could not open file cs_frags.9mers.gz
ERROR:: Exit from: ....srccorefragmentFragmentIO.cc line: 258
BOINC:: Error reading and gzipping output datafile: default.out
called boinc_finish

You have actually had several other WUs (all in the TO series) which ended in the same fashion as have I. I reported mine, as at least one other cruncher has, in the minirosetta 2.17 thread.
All ran only a few seconds and mine failed when I was no where near the computer and nothing else was running so I don't see how opening the graphics window could have anything to do with it. I further suspect that the second attempts currently being made on these same WUS will fail in the same fashion.

Best,
Snags

Thanks for the many responses. As previously identified, my GPU is integrated.

It probably was a coincidence but very disappointing as I had never seen such low energies ( minus 1,300 ) but those numbers could have been bogus too. While fun to watch, obviously things will run faster if I don't.

Keep on crunching.
