I have my preferences set to NOT remain in RAM when suspended, but minirosetta 2.15 does not free the RAM when suspended. This also impacts the swap space message that several people have already mentioned in another thread.

Perhaps this should be addressed when the large RAM issue is addressed.

The BOINC core client would be responsible for holding the memory, or not, depending upon that preference setting. Which BOINC version are you observing this on?

Ahh, sorry. I am using version 6.10.58

My other clients DO release RAM, such as Einstein, when suspended.

I have just noticed that it does not ALWAYS hold RAM, but the exact conditions under which it does not are not known to me.
