Average: 7.66 Credits No it is not a useless cruncher, it is just not as fast as other machines. If that is what you have to crunch with, it will work just fine! I put Win7 on mine and it crunched fine too while it was crunching. Do you ahve 2 gig of ram in that machine? If so you can bump up your credit output by also crunching for http://freehal.net/freehal_at_home/ The units for FreeHal only run in memory, they do not use the cpu, so you need a machine that has extra or does nothing else but crunch. |
